Using Procedure: 

The most effective method of RXSOL-41-8865-025 is circulation for large systems or components. In the case of small components, the soak method in an immersion bath can be used.

If the equipment to be cleaned is contaminated by oil, grease, sludge or carbonised oil, then pre-cleaning with RXSOL-20-2002-SC or Rxsol-10-1006 is necessary.

RXSOL-41-8865-025 dilute with fresh water as 5-30%,  solution depending on scale.Make a circulation system so as to allow the solution to enter through the lowest point and leave through the highest point of the equipment, which is to be descaled.

TIPS for CLEANING 
Fill up the whole system with the solution and circulate through a centrifugal pump.
At the initial stages, pH of the solution is generally at 2 to 3 there is increase in the pH of the solution, during reaction.The increase in the pH of the solution during circulation reflects on going reaction. Add more quantity of RXSOL-41-8865-025 and continue circulation, in case of the pH level being 4.5 to 5.  If circulation of system shows constant pH 2 to 3 after time confirms the completion of the process of descaling.

The process of descaling is checked by a periodical pH testing of the solution.
 

For silica scales and very hard scales, power and liquid forms of RXSOL-41-8865-025 is recommended.

For the prevention of further scaling in melting industry, RXSOL-41-8865-025 is recommended.

 

NOTE : After using RXSOL-16-1008-060 ( After completion of descaling ) rinse all equipment and metal surfaces at least one time with a 0.5% solution of RXSOL-20-2059-025 in fresh water. This solution should be circulated for 2-4 hours or until pH value comes 6-7. This will neutralize any remaining acid and passivate steel surfaces.

Truck Wash Brightener is a clear liquid which contains inorganic acids and surface active agents that are specifically blended into a stable, highly active concentrate for the cleaning and brightening tractors and tractor trailers. Using Procedure: 

Dilute with water before using. The level of dilution depends on the nature and the temperature of the surface being treated.

Can be applied by brushing or high pressure spray wash.

Always Work from bottom to top both on application and rinse. Allow the solution to work for 10 minutes or less prior to rinsing.

Recommended concentrations are 10:1 dilutions for brush application and 20:1 for pressure washing application.

Do not permit solution to dry on surface, rinse completely and preferably by covering area with a high pressure rinse.

When used as directed, it is safe on aluminum, copper, Plexiglas, stainless steel, brass, iron, painted surfaces, steel, bronze, lead and rubber. Also very effective in removing brake dust and black carbon stains. It is not safe on galvanized surfaces, zinc magnesium, chrome and tin.

Alias:

Application: 

RXSOL-40-1048-025  is mixed with fresh water 3 to 20 percent depending on deposition of scaling.

If the equipment to be cleaned is contaminated by oil, grease, sludge or carbonized oil, then first of all clean the system with degreaser  RXSOL-10-1005. RXSOL-40-1048 should be mixed with fresh water to form a solution of 10-30%, depending on the extent of scaling.   

PRECAUTION :::it is essential to thoroughly rinse all metal surfaces at least once with a 0.5% solution of  RXSO-20-2005  in fresh water. This solution should be circulated for 2-4 hours or until an acceptable pH value is obtained. This will neutralize any remaining acidity & passivate steel surfaces.

Procedure-of-use: The most effective descaling is accomplished by circulation.In the case of small components,the soak method in an immersion bath can be used. If the equipment to be cleaned is contaminated by oil, grease or sludge, then pre-cleaning with DEGREASER ( RXSOL OB 1005 ) is necessary. Depending on the extent of scaling, use a solution of 2.5-10% RXSOL-40-1048-025 .

RXSOL-40-1048-025 ( We have 2 grade 1 is with colour indicator , while other one dont have indicator ) 

The solution will have a red colour which changes to orange when 85% of the acid has been neutralized , & to colourless  when the solution is totally neutralized. Whenever possible, the solution should be heated to 60°C.Neutralised  solutions can be re-activated by adding more RXSOL-40-1048-025  until the red colour reappears.

After using  RXSOL-40-1048-025, sense all metal surfaces with 0.5 percent of  RXSOL-10-1005, at least 2-4 hour , up to neutral of PH value.

TIPS for General Uses ::: 

The steam boiler which has solid mass of mineral deposits approximate mass calculation will help to use proper volume of RXSOL-40-1048-025  Descaler. As per gallon in concentrated form of RXSOL-40-1048-025  has the ability to dissolve approximately 1.5kg of scale mass 
For example if descaling required for home appliances , brewing shop 1 - 3 Table spoon is sufficient to clean while for Industrial cleaning multiple Gallon volume required.

As for the other parts,  The RXSOL-40-1048-025 works more quickly with hot water than cold. Try using RXSOL-40-1048-025 with the hot maintain the temperature. And give sufficint time to dissolve mineral deposits in some cases complete dissolving may reuqire bath water above 100F over night period.

Home application ::: 
Around two tablespoons to a liter of water is a 'normal' mix. You could go 3 or 4 tablespoons for heavier scale. When I do my every 6 months descale I use the 2 tablespoons per liter mix and it works just fine. Hot water is more aggressive so when you put all the parts in a tub to descale, put your water and RXSOL-40-1048-025 in a bit stock pot, bring it to a low boil then dump it in your tub with the parts.

Almost forgot, do not use an aluminum pot or Teflon coated. Use stainless. The acidic part of RXSOL-40-1048-025 will eat up the aluminum and may blister the Teflon.

Application: 

Typically  3% concnetrated solution of RXSOL-22-2210-200 (  3 Ltr for each 100 liters ) of system circulate in system to operate normally for 24-48 hours with the bleed  line turned off,  then  drain  the whole system. Repeat 2 or 3 times the normal rate to dilute unused RXSOL-22-2210-200. 

 

RXSOL-22-2210-200 is  colour  coded.  When first added to the  system, the system water will be red in colour. As RXSOL-22-2210-200 works  at dissolving  scale, it will change to yellow. When this happens, simply add more RXSOL-22-2210-200 to  the  system  until  the  system water is red again, then allow the system water to circulate process until the system water just remains red.

Using Procedure: 

Safe Scale Remover with colour Indicator - Red to Yellow
RXSOL-22-2210-200  is mixed with fresh water 3 to 20 percent ( 3 Ltr to 100 Ltr water ) depending on deposition of scaling.

The most effective method is circulation for large systems or components like boilers, evaporators, condensers, heat exchangers and generally closed systems that have the capability to circulate at a temperature of approximately 40-60°C, for 6-12 hours and solutions of 5-40% of RXSOL-22-2210-200 in water. Keep in mind that the strength of the solution is analogous to the degree of deposition of scale .
In case of small components , the soak method in an immersion bath can be used.

Antiscalant RXSOL ORG EV

Antiscalant RXSOL ORG EV  is a high performance liquid product for the control of alkaline scaling (calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide) in all types of seawater distillation plants. Antiscalant ORG EV is an aqueous solution of a synthetic polymer based on hydrolysed maleic anhydride.Used alone or in conjunction with a sponge ball cleaning system its effectiveness has been demonstrated in distillation plants operating with top brine temperatures up to 120 ºC.

RO antiscant

Scaling is caused in membranes because the level of hardness salts in the water becomes highly concentrated as it passes through the RO unit. In smaller units scale formation can be prevented by base exchange softening the make-up water but for larger systems that is very expensive. We have developed a range of easy to handle, cost effective RO Antiscalant which increase the solubility of the hardness salts so they remain in solution rather than forming scale on the membrane. Our cost effective RO antiscalants will inhibit a wide range of foulants including: calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, barium sulphate, strontium sulphate, calcium fluoride, silica and iron.

RO Antiscalants are dosed directly to the RO feed water tank or feed water line (after pretreatment) at the recommended dosage of 1-3 mg/L and maximum dosage at 8mg/L, subject to inlet water quality and parameters is respect of Calcium Hardness, Iron, TDS, Alkalinity, pH and silica content. Maximum dilution should be 10% with RO or DI water for temperature less than 30 deg C. For higher temperature the dilution ratio can increase.

Application and Dosage
Our RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is dosed directly to the RO feed water tank or feed water line (after pretreatment) at the minimum recommended dosage of 1ppm and maximum dosage at 15ppm, subject to inlet water quality and parameters is respect of Calcium Hardness, Iron, TDS, Alkalinity, pH and silica content. 

In case of high iron content of about 0.5 to 1.0ppm, the dosing has to be increased by 10-15ppm for stabilizing Calcium. 

At about 10-15ppm dosage our RO Antiscalant (HIGH PH) is capable of fully inhibiting iron and calcium, and silica up to 166ppm. For higher silica content RXSOL ANTISCALANT should be used.

Using Procedure: 

Antiscalant RXSOL ORG EV is an aqueous solution of an organic acid and as such is corrosive in its concentrated form. Corrosion resistant dosing equipment must be used. Examples of suitable materials are 316L stainless steel and PVC or other plastic materials. Recommended injection points are either into the seawater make-up line after any external de-aeration and decarbonation equipment or into the recycle brine stream at a suitable point after the blowdown and typically into the discharge of the recycle brine pump

Antiscalant RXSOL ORG EV  is miscible with water in all proportions. It may be applied as the neat product, or as a solution in distillate and should be dosed continuously, and proportionately to the seawater make-up flow, to maintain the recommended dose level.

The dose level required will depend on a number of factors, including the quality of the seawater feed, TBT, recycle brine concentration factor, the type of distillation plant and frequency of application of the sponge ball cleaning system. Typical dose levels, when used in conjunction with a sponge ball cleaning system, are 0.8 to 1.2 mg/l at TBT 90 ºC and 2.0 to 3.0 mg/l at TBT 110 ºC. Detailed recommendations for any plant will be made on request

Note: 

Thermal Stability: 
Thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry have shown that Antiscalant RXSOL ORG EV is stable up to a temperature of 300 oC.

Chemical Reactivity: 
Antiscalant RXSOL ORG EV  is not affected by chlorine or other oxidising biocides under normal conditions of use. It is readily broken down by strong oxidising

Using Procedure: 

For General cleaning it Should be diluted ,at the rate of 1-parts RXSOL-16-1007-530 to 5-parts water,( Or 1:1 ratio of any solvent like diesel ) before use or depend  on nature of dirt / contamination  . For Heavy deposition , immerse the stainless Steel DISCS in the container with concentrated RXSOL-16-1007-530  for 15 minutes to 3 Hrs.  At 50 to 60°C ( Heating is not necessary ) . 
After the unit or parts have been satisfactorily cleaned, remove the discs by using RUBBER GLOVES and rinse thoroughly with fresh water. It is recommended that this product is not used on soft metal, Zinc,Tin, Galvanized surfaces or Anodized Aluminium. Then separator discs can be used immediately. 

NOTE:- 
Recirculation  and  heating will improves the cleaning action.

For Heavy Duty Cleaning

Separator Cleaner can only be used for cleaning stainless steel separator discs. Fill a stainless steel or plastic container with pure Separator Cleaner. Immerse the stainless steel discs in the container and let the product act for 30 minutes up to a maximum of 2 hours.  Heating the product is not necessary. Do not put the discs closely packed into the liquid but take care that there is enough space between them so that the product can work properly. Remove the discs from the bath (wear rubber gloves) and rinse with a powerful water jet. The cleaned separator discs can be used immediately.

Note: Tanks (Vats) should be made of stainless steel (304, 316, or 347), ceramics or other acid proof materials. Heating elements should be made of stainless steel, impervious carbon or graphite. Do not use Monel equipment, lead or rubber lining in tanks.

Operating Instructions:

Immersion: Use 5% to 25% volume with water at room temperature to 160ºF. Follow the cleaning step with fresh water rinsing and drying. The higher the concentration and heat, the faster the rust removal. Immersion time depends on the degree of soil and amount of rust to be removed. Hand Wipe: Use 10% to 50%/volume added to water at room temperature to 120ºF. Apply with clean rags, wipes or brushes. Allow the Rust Remover to soak on part surfaces for several minutes before wiping or brushing for improved results. Follow with fresh water rinsing then dry the parts.

Titration Procedure (insert “Information”)

    1. Using a pipette, take a 5 ml sample of Rust Remover from the cleaning bath
    2. Put the 5 ml sample into the mixing flask
    3. Add 10 ml of water then stir well to mix
    4. Add 5 drops of phenolphthalein indicator
    5. Counting the drops added, add 10N Sodium Hydroxide one drop at a time until the solution turns from clear to purple. Swirl between drops. The number of drops needed is the concentration of the Rust Remover.

The solution will have a red colour which changes to orange when 85% of the acid has been neutralized , & to colourless  when the solution is totally neutralized. Whenever possible, the solution should be heated to 60°C.Neutralised  solutions can be re-activated by adding more RXSOL-54-1008-025  until the red colour reappears. This should not be done more than twice. RXSOL-54-1008-025  should not be used on Aluminium , Zinc, Tin or Galvanized surfaces.

After use of Descalex a 0.5% solution of Alkalinity Control in fresh water should be used for neutralisation.

    Using Procedure: 

    Lime Remover HD must be used according to the hold surface area that is to be covered, the extent of contamination, the available downtime and the application method being used. Lime Remover HD is covering 10-12 Squire Meter area.

    Using Procedure

    I - Spray Method

    Spray Method is applicable where a high–pressure machine, suitable to process chemical solutions, is used with a 50% Lime Remover HD/water solution to inject directly onto the surface area. Then, the solution must be left to act for 15 minutes followed by thorough rinsing using a high–pressure water supply source. After , the surface must be left to dry. The percentage  of dilutions may vary depending on the thickness and hardness of the deposited lime.

    II – Soaking Method

    Soaking is a method where Lime Remover HD is used undiluted and applied with conventional methods such as an elongated thick and hard brush, a hard sponge etc. Once applied, Lime Remover HD must be left to soak for 30 minutes. Rinse with water, and followed by leaving the surface to dry. Usually, this method is applicable to heavily contaminated small and large tank surface areas and installations.

    TO USE 

    For normal CIP cleaning or soak cleaning RO and UF system completely , Pre dissolve in warm water before adding to system. Typically used Concentration is 0.7 to 1.5 % or 9-20 ounces of RXSOL ORG 10 per each 10 Gallon (67-150 grams/10 l) f water. Circulate throughout the system for 20 Minutes at a temperature of 120-160 degree F (49 – 71 degree C)

    In cases of heavy fouling, the first return flow (up to 15% of the cleaning tank volume) should be diverted to drain to prevent redeposition of removed solids.

    A fresh solution should then be prepared before cleaning additional passes.

    Rinse with permeate before returning the system to service.

    Scaling is caused in membranes because the level of hardness salts in the water becomes highly concentrated as it passes through the RO unit. In smaller units scale formation can be prevented by base exchange softening the make-up water but for larger systems that is very expensive. We have developed a range of easy to handle, cost-effective RO Antiscalant which increase the solubility of the hardness salts so they remain in solution rather than forming scale on the membrane. Our cost-effective RO antiscalants will inhibit a wide range of foulants including calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, barium sulphate, strontium sulphate, calcium fluoride, silica and iron.

    Silica Removal With Ease: 
    Silica Scale Removal can be added with other descaling compound in the ratio of 20%-40% W/W of acidic descalant or 2-10% W/V of the total water hold up volume.

    After mixing the solution is then re-circulated into the heat exchanger or boiler tubes for prescribed duration. After the descaling is complete drain out the descaling solution. 
    RXSOL Silica Scale Removal is inhibited for corrosion protection.

    Handling Precautions
    USE splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention.

    Using Procedure: 

    HEDP is used as chelating agent. The dosage of 1-10mg/L is preferred as scale inhibitor, 10-50mg/L as corrosion inhibitor, and 1000-2000mg/L as detergent. Usually, HEDP is used together with polycarboxylic acid. It is used as a strong chelating agent for metal ions like Ca, Mg & Fe in water treatment, textile applications. Its efficient inhibition for CaCO3 & CaSO4 alone or in combination with low molecular weight polymers. Very effective in protecting metal corrosion. HEDP also having very strong chlorine stability.

    Synthesis / Manufacturing Process of HEDP:
    The primary raw materials used to manufacture HEDP are acetic anhydride and either phosphorus acid or phosphorus Trichloride. The phosphorus trichloride is converted to phosphorus acid within the reaction vessel, and then reacts with the acetic anhydride.

    Uses / Application of HEDP
    HEDP is used as a strong Chelating Agent for Metal Ions like Ca, Mg & Fe in water Treatment, Textile, Sugar Processing, Dye, Soaps & Detergents.

    Properties :

    HEDP is a 60% active aqueous solution and is part of the Biphosphonic Acid Group. It is highly water soluble and stable under harsh conditions, which makes it ideal for water treatment. The main uses in the water treatment industry are, reverse osmosis formulation, cooling water treatment, boiler water treatment, swimming pools, scale and corrosion inhibitor.
     

    Handling :  HEDP 60% is slightly toxic by ingestion, practically non-toxic on dermal application, moderately irritating to the skin and corrosive to the eyes. Care should be taken to avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, flush the affected area with plenty of water. Goggles and rubber gloves should be used at all times when working with the concentrated material.

    Storage : Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Over time, pressure may increase causing containers to burst Handle and open container with care.
